URL Forwarding or Redirecting Simply means when one URL or web page is entered the user/visitor is sent to another page or URL. This is often used for unscrupulous reasons, but it also can be used to benefit the user or visitor. An example would be after a user submits form data they will often be redirected or forwarded to another page on the website.
